Congress’s Manish Tewari claims Data Protection Bill classified as money bill, IT minister Ashwini Vaishnaw refutes

Congress Lok Sabha MP from Anandpur Sahib Manish Tewari on Thursday claimed that the Digital Data Protection Bill has been classified as a money bill and that the Rajya Sabha will hardly have a role in the legislation. Minister for Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) Ashwini Vaishnaw, however, refuted the Congress leader's claims and said it is a "normal bill".
