Rajya Sabha clears Delhi services bill 131-102 as BJD, YSRCP back Centre

Parliament on Monday gave its nod to the Delhi services bill, which deals with transfers and postings of senior officers in the Delhi government, with the Rajya Sabha clearing the legislation with a comfortable majority at the end of a more-than-six-hour debate. The bill, which was cleared by the Lok Sabha on Friday, will now be sent to the President for assent to become law.
