Cabinet approves eCourts project phase-III

The Indian government has approved the third phase of the eCourts Project, which aims to improve access to justice through technology. With a budget of Rs 7,210 crore, the project will be implemented over four years and will focus on digitizing court records, introducing paperless courts, and providing e-filing and e-payment services. The objective is to create a unified technology platform that will facilitate seamless interactions between courts, litigants, and other stakeholders.
