Jharkhand government floor test, Cabinet expansion likely to take place tomorrow
Sunday, 7 July 2024 Hemant Soren, recently sworn in for the third time as Jharkhand's chief minister, will expand his cabinet after proving his majority in the assembly. Soren, previously jailed for alleged money laundering, resumed office after his predecessor, Champai Soren, resigned. The Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) leader's return strengthens the party, which allied with Congress and RJD to win the 2019 assembly elections.
