In 9 years of Modi government, Maoist violence down by 52 percent, says Union home minister Amit Shah

The Union Home Minister, Amit Shah, claimed that Maoist violence has dropped by 52% during the nine years of the Narendra Modi government. Shah accused the Congress party of encouraging naxalism and stated that if the BJP is voted back into government in the upcoming Chhattisgarh assembly election, the state will be rid of the Maoist menace. He also highlighted the decrease in deaths from Maoist violence and the decline in Maoist-affected districts during the Modi government's tenure.
