Rakesh Tikait joins farmers' protest in Greater Noida
Saturday, 21 October 2023 Farmer leader Rakesh Tikait on Saturday joined an ongoing protest related to the peasant community at Greater Noida. A prominent face and spokesperson of the influential Bharatiya Kisan Union, Tikait reached the Zero Point, where hundreds of protestors are camping, on a tractor. "Took part in the farmer-labourer mahapanchayat organised at the Zero Point in Gautam Buddh Nagar district of Uttar Pradesh and addressed the panchayat," Tikait posted on X, formerly Twitter.
