BJP revokes suspension of MLA Raja Singh ahead of Telangana elections
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has lifted the suspension of Telangana MLA T Raja Singh after he replied to a show-cause notice regarding his controversial remarks against Prophet Muhammad. The party's Central Disciplinary Committee considered Singh's reply and decided to revoke his suspension. Singh had previously expressed confidence that his suspension would be lifted and stated that he would contest the Telangana Assembly polls on the BJP ticket. Telangana is set to witness a three-way contest between the BJP, BRS, and the Congress.
