Indian student from Telangana dies after drowning at US Barberville Falls
Tuesday, 9 July 2024 () A 25-year-old Indian student, Sai Surya Avinash Gadde from Telangana, drowned at Barberville Falls in Albay on Sunday, July 7. He was studying at Trine University and was spending the long weekend of July 4 in the area, about 240 km north of New York state. Gadde and another man were swimming when they encountered difficulties. While one was rescued by a nearby man, Gadde tragically drowned. Sai Surya Avinash Gadde, originally from Telangana, had been spending the long weekend of July 4 near Barberville Falls.

Justin Timberlake has been arrested. According to ABC News and CNN the pop singer has been arrested by local police in Sag Harbor, New York for allegedly driving while intoxicated. The arrest in the Hamptons took place on Monday night and Timberlake is expected to make a court appearance on Tuesday facing a DWI charge. The incident comes a day after the singer posted a sweet Father's Day message on his Instagram.

Sources say he was partying at the
American Hotel before getting behind the wheel.
He reportedly blew a stop sign
in front of police, so they
began to follow him.
The police say Timberlake's car was
swerving, so they pulled him over.
A field sobriety test was conducted,
which Timberlake reportedly failed. .
He refused to take a
breathalyzer test, sources say. .
Timberlake was later "arraigned and
released without bail," TMZ reports. .
His next court date is
scheduled for July 26.
Timberlake is currently on tour.
