2 infiltrators killed in Uri: Army
Two infiltrators were killed by security forces along the Line of Control (LoC) in Uri, Baramulla. The terrorists attempted to cross over during bad weather, but were intercepted and engaged in a heavy exchange of fire. Two other terrorists were believed to be injured and fled across the LoC. Search operations were temporarily suspended due to inclement weather. War-like stores were discovered in the area, including weapons, grenades, and Pakistani and Indian currency.
