Uttar Pradesh forms SIT to probe funds madrassas got from abroad
The UP government has formed a three-member Special Investigation Team, headed by an additional director general rank officer, to probe the funds received from abroad by madrassas in the state. There are around 25,000 madrassas in UP and over 16,500 of them are recognised by the UP Board of Madrassa Education.
