Bike brushes against Dussehra reveller, biker beaten to death
Thursday, 26 October 2023 Two days after the brutal assault and death of a 24-year-old daily-wager from the minority community for allegedly brushing his bike past a Dussehra reveller at Babugarh in UP's Hapur, police have arrested one more accused in the case. Additional SP (Hapur) Raj Kumar Agarwal, said on Thursday the postmortem report confirmed that Mohd Irshad, a local from Luhari village, had sustained multiple injuries and abrasions in his forehead and bruises in other parts of his body which may have caused his death.

In a devastating road accident today, at least 18 people lost their lives and many others were injured after the bus they were travelling in collided with another vehicle in Unnao, Uttar Pradesh. Among the deceased were three women and one child, police reported. The double-decker bus, which was en route from Biharβs Sitamarhi to Delhi, crashed into a milk tanker from behind on the Lucknow-Agra Expressway early this morning. The force of the collision was immense, causing several passengers to be flung out of the bus, police stated.
