Ceasefire violation: Jammu divisional commissioner, IGP visit border villages
The Divisional Commissioner and IGP of Jammu visited border villages affected by Pakistani shelling and assessed property damage. This comes after two BSF personnel and a woman were injured in unprovoked firing by Pakistan Rangers. The BSF registered a protest during a commander-level meeting. This is the fifth ceasefire violation by Pakistan since February 25, 2021. During the visit, officials interacted with affected families and discussed developmental requirements and encroachment issues with locals.
