‘Direct flight connectivity between India & Australia to triple from pre-Covid level this winter': Tourism Australia
Direct connectivity between India and Australia is set to increase significantly post-Covid, with the number of weekly flights expected to triple from eight to about 25 by December. Air India and Qantas will be operating these flights, including a new nonstop route between Mumbai and Melbourne. The increase in capacity will help boost tourism and strengthen trade ties between the two countries. Australia has also introduced multiple entry business visas with a validity of five years, further facilitating travel and trade between India and Australia.
