'Stray vacancy round' to be held to fill more than 1,000 MBBS seats

The Medical Counselling Committee has announced a special 'stray vacancy round' to fill the over 1,000 vacant MBBS/BDS seats in medical colleges. The deadline for admission set by the National Medical Commission was September 30, but several seats remain unfilled. The schedule released by MCC stated that counselling for all-India quota seats in government colleges, central institutions, and deemed universities will be held from October 31, with results announced on November 7. State counselling sessions will be held from November 7-10, and the last date for joining is November 15.
