Vinod Sonkar, the chairman of the Lok Sabha Ethics Committee, has accused opposition members of behaving unethically and boycotting a meeting to detract from allegations against Trinamool MP Mahua Moitra. Sonkar said that Moitra used unparliamentary language and opposition members made unethical remarks against the panel. Aparajita Sarangi, a BJP MP and panel member, supported Sonkar's claims, stating that Moitra behaved rudely and arrogantly.
