Saturday, 4 November 2023 Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis clarified that YouTuber Elvish Yadav was invited to the CM house as a celebrity and had no allegations against him. This came after allegations were made that Yadav was involved in supplying snake venom at rave parties. Congress spokesperson Atul Londhe Patil posted pictures of Yadav with the Chief Minister, questioning the CM's association with criminals. Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut also criticized the government, suggesting a possible link between the drug trade and the state government.

Despite this, Raut acknowledged their democratic right to form a government but emphasized that the INDIA alliance, with its 250 seats, also has a mandate to govern. He concluded by questioning the loyalty of Naidu and Kumar to the BJP, suggesting they might choose to support democracy over dictatorship.
