CRPF deploys UAVs and additional troops for newly introduced polling stations in Naxal hit areas
Monday, 6 November 2023 The Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) has deployed additional troops, drones, and road opening parties in order to conduct voting in newly created polling stations in hypersensitive areas in Chhattisgarh. Around 450 polling stations have been created in areas that were previously Maoist strongholds. Two additional companies of the CRPF's commando battalions have been deployed in sensitive locations and an additional 62 CRPF companies have been brought to the state for deployment. The CRPF is focusing on ensuring peaceful voting in these areas on November 7.

In the aftermath of the Reasi terror attack, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha visited the injured pilgrims, providing them with comfort and support.
