Delhi will implement the odd-even traffic restriction plan from November 13 to 20 to combat air pollution after Diwali. Electric and CNG-run cars and two-wheelers are likely to be exempted from the restrictions. Physical classes in schools, except for students of classes X and XII preparing for exams, will be suspended. The government will assess the situation after November 20 to decide whether to extend the restrictions. Vehicular emissions contribute significantly to Delhi's pollution levels. The government has also implemented other long-term measures to mitigate pollution.
