Modi govt to continue with its zero tolerance approach towards illegal immigration, says Amit Shah

Union Home Minister Amit Shah has stated that the Indian government will maintain a zero-tolerance stance towards illegal immigration. The National Investigation Agency (NIA) recently conducted raids across ten states, resulting in the arrest of 44 individuals involved in human trafficking. The NIA coordinated with the Border Security Force and state police forces to dismantle networks aiding the infiltration and settlement of illegal migrants along the Indo-Bangladesh border. The arrests were made in Tripura, Karnataka, Assam, West Bengal, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Telangana, and Haryana.
