Just helped me double 2024 winning margin: Mahua Moitra on Ethics panel report

IndiaTimes Friday, 10 November 2023
Trinamool Congress MP Mahua Moitra responded to the recommendation of her expulsion from the Lok Sabha Ethics Committee by stating that she will come back with a stronger mandate in 2024. She criticized the committee's decision, calling it a "kangaroo court" and "monkey business." The committee, chaired by BJP Lok Sabha member Vinod Kumar Sonkar, adopted a 479-page report recommending Moitra's expulsion. Four opposition members opposed the recommendation, stating that businessman Darshan Hiranandani should have been asked to testify before the panel.
