Lalu aide held in laundering case in 'jobs for land' scam

A close associate of former railway minister Lalu Prasad, Amit Katyal, has been arrested by the Enforcement Directorate in connection with a money laundering case related to the 'jobs for land' scam. The agency has accused Katyal of being evasive in his statements about the money trail. Katyal is a former director of A K Infosystems Pvt Ltd, a company allegedly involved in the scam. The scam involves the alleged exchange of jobs for land parcels during Lalu's time as railway minister. Lalu and his family members have also been questioned in connection with the case.
