A group of 29 Myanmarese soldiers who sought refuge in Mizoram after their camp was attacked by the Chin militia have been airlifted by the Indian Air Force to Assam Rifles camps in Manipur. They will be handed over to officials from Myanmar at the India-Myanmar border. This evacuation is part of an ongoing exercise that began last Thursday when the soldiers initially entered Mizoram.
