Clashes as tempers flare at some booths, police step in

Tension prevailed at polling booths in Jangaon, Kamareddy, Sirupur Kagaznagar, Medak, and Sangareddy. In Jangaon, Congress workers objected to an unauthorized person entering a booth, causing clashes with BJP, Congress, and TRS activists. In Kamareddy, BRS workers objected to A Kondal Reddy's presence. In Sirupur Kagaznagar, a BSP worker was allegedly attacked. In Medak, BRS workers tried to stop the car of Congress candidate Mynampalli Rohit's wife. In Sangareddy, Congress candidate Jagga Reddy staged a dharna, alleging unjust detainment of Congress workers.
