'Country's trust, Modi's guarantee': EAM S Jaishankar as BJP ahead in three states

External affairs minister S Jaishankar says the people of India trust only "Prime Minister Narendra Modi's ki guarantee" as BJP leads in Assembly polls in Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, and Rajasthan. Congress hopes for a return to power in Madhya Pradesh have gone wrong as the BJP takes a comfortable lead. In Telangana, the Congress is poised to oust the BRS government. The BJP is set to edge out the Congress in Chhattisgarh. The BJP leads in 53 of 90 assembly seats in Chhattisgarh and in 112 seats in Rajasthan, according to the Election Commission.
