Chhattisgarh chief minister Bhupesh Baghel writes to PM Modi demanding ban on Mahadev app
Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has written to Prime Minister Narendra Modi requesting a complete ban on Mahadev Online Book applications. Baghel highlighted the expansion of illegal gambling and betting business nationwide through online platforms. He mentioned the strict actions taken by the Chhattisgarh government and police, including registering over 90 criminal cases, arresting more than 450 accused, and freezing Rs 16 crore in bank accounts. Baghel also emphasized the need to ban international/domestic mobile numbers, mail IDs, Telegram, WhatsApp, URLs, and files used in this illegal business. He urged the Central government to take appropriate action to protect people from falling into the trap of this illegal business.
