IndiaTimes Wednesday, 6 December 2023
A SpiceJet flight to Mumbai was delayed for 15 hours, leaving over 190 passengers stranded at Bengaluru airport. The airline failed to give a proper explanation for the delay, but later confirmed that a technical snag in the aircraft caused the situation. The flight, originally scheduled to take off at 6am, finally departed after 9.10pm. Passengers, including children and the elderly, were asked to report early, but were given no explanation for the delay.

Dubai Floods: Air India, IndiGo Dubai flights face cancellation amid adverse weather | Oneindia

The United Arab Emirates witnessed an unprecedented deluge, marking its most substantial rainfall on record since 1949. Described as a "historic weather event" by the state-run WAM news agency, the widespread downpour across the UAE is attributed to a combination of factors, including cloud seeding initiatives. Significant disruptions have been reported in flights from India to Dubai due to heavy rains causing flooding at the emirate's airport, one of the world's busiest. Air India, operating 72 weekly flights from multiple Indian cities to Dubai, alongside IndiGo, have cancelled their services on Wednesday. Other carriers, including Air India Express, Vistara, and SpiceJet, which also serve various Indian cities to Dubai routes, have been affected as well. Dubai, hosting a substantial Indian diaspora, sees these flight cancellations impacting travel plans and connections for many. #DubaiRains #DubaiFlightsCancelled #AirIndia #IndiGo #FlightsCancelledDubai #dubaiflood #dubaifloodnewstoday2024 #dubaifloodinglive #dubaifloodslatestnewstoday #dubaifloodnewstoday #dubaiflood2024 #dubaifloodnews #dubaiflood2024live #dubaifloodvideo #Oneindia #Oneindia news ~PR.152~ED.101~GR.121~HT.96~
