Charter flight, grounded in France over 'human trafficking' suspicion leaves for Mumbai with about 280 Indians onboard
The charter plane carrying 303 Indians, which was grounded in France for an investigation into human trafficking, is expected to land in Mumbai. Two Indians have been detained in France, and some passengers have sought asylum. The aircraft is expected to fly in with about 280 Indians. The flight, operated by Legend Airlines, departed Vatry at 4.30 pm and is expected to land in Mumbai around 1.30 am. The passengers will be questioned by immigration authorities upon arrival in Mumbai.
