Indians prefer tried-and-tested destinations for year-end travel, says portal
New Delhi and NCR have remained the most booked domestic destination among Indian travellers in 2023, according to a travel portal. Goa, Mumbai, Bengaluru, and Chennai also made the list of popular domestic destinations. Bangkok surpassed Dubai as the top international destination for Indian travellers, followed by Bali and Singapore. In terms of inbound trips to India, the US, Singapore, Japan, UK, and Australia were the top markets for December. The top festive retreat destinations for Indian travellers were Goa, Pondicherry, Ooty, Munnar, and Delhi.
