Kashmir freezing; Srinagar records season’s coldest night at minus 2.6°C

Kashmir Valley experiences severe cold wave as temperature in Srinagar reaches season's lowest of -2.6°C. The mercury is expected to drop further in the next three days. However, there will be some respite from the freezing cold conditions starting from December 15. The weather in J&K is expected to remain dry till December 11, with generally cloudy conditions. From December 12-15, there will be light rain/snow in the higher reaches. Other places like Qazigund, Pahalgam, Kokernag, Kupwara, Gulmarg, and Jammu also recorded low temperatures.
