MEA denies report it issued 'secret memo' on Nijjar to missions
Sunday, 10 December 2023 The MEA has strongly denied a media report that it issued a "secret memo" to Indian missions in North America in April this year, seeking "concrete measures" against Khalistan leader Hardeep Singh Nijjar. "We strongly assert that such reports are fake and completely fabricated. There is no such memo," said the MEA spokesperson, adding that the report was part of a sustained disinformation campaign against India.
