IAF goes full throttle to turn into an 'aerospace power'

The Indian Air Force (IAF) is undergoing a transformation to become the Indian Air and Space Force (IASF) in order to enhance its capabilities in the aerospace domain. The IAF has formulated a new doctrine called Space Vision 2047 and is collaborating with organizations like Isro, DRDO, IN-SPACe, and the private industry to develop niche space-related technologies. The IAF is also working towards the establishment of a full-fledged Space Command and aims to have over 100 military satellites.
