Chhattisgarh chief minister-designate Vishnu Deo Sai and his council of ministers will be taking oath on December 13 in Raipur, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi attending the event. Sai, the former Chhattisgarh BJP president and ex-Union minister of state, was chosen as the new CM by the BJP. He won the assembly polls from Kunkuri in north Chhattisgarh, representing the influential Sahu (Teli) community. The BJP won 54 out of 90 seats in the elections, securing a victory after five years.
