Kashmir issue should be resolved through dialogue between India and Pakistan: China

IndiaTimes Tuesday, 12 December 2023
China maintains its consistent stance on the Kashmir issue, emphasizing that it should be resolved through peaceful means and dialogue between India and Pakistan. The recent Supreme Court judgment upholding the central government's decision on Article 370 is seen by China as a dispute from the past that needs to be addressed in accordance with the UN charter, UNSC resolutions, and relevant bilateral agreements. China's all-weather ally, Pakistan, has also rejected the verdict, stating that India's actions have no legal value under international law.

Zelensky's 'Delusional' Dream of Peace Shattered by Russia's Fiery Rebuke, Says ‘Won’t be Forced’

In a fiery exchange reflecting the deepening rift between Kyiv and Moscow, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov labelled Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky's recent remarks as “delusional.” This statement came in response to Zelensky's assertion during his address to the UN Security Council that Moscow could be forced into peace on Ukraine’s terms. Peskov vehemently rejected this notion, warning that attempting to coerce Russia into peace is a "fatal mistake" that will have serious repercussions for Ukraine.
