India requests 26/11 Mumbai attack mastermind Hafiz Saeed's extradition from Pakistan | Oneindia
In a bold and strategic move, the Government of India has formally requested Pakistan to extradite Hafiz Saeed, the mastermind behind the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks.
The Ministry of External Affairs spokesperson, Arindam Bagchi, confirmed the request during a press briefing on Friday, emphasising Saeed's status as a UN-proscribed terrorist wanted in numerous cases in India.
The four-day wedding celebrations began on Friday with the traditional Hindu wedding ceremony and will be followed by a grand reception thatās expected to run throughout the weekend.

The Shehbaz Sharif-led government in Pakistan has decided to ban the jailed former Prime Minister Imran Khan's Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party, the country's Information Minister announced on Monday.
