The BJP, known for its unexpected choices in appointing Chief Ministers for Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh, continued its trend by surprising everyone on Tuesday. The party selected Bhajan Lal Sharma, a first-term MLA, to lead the government in Jaipur, sidelining the aspirations of former CM Vasundhara Raje and other contenders. For the deputy CM positions, the party nominated Diya Kumari (Rajput) and Prem Chand Bairwa (Dalit). Vasudev Devnani, a Sindhi, was chosen as the new speaker.
