Cops recover bodies of two women dumped along UP highways
Friday, 15 December 2023 Police on Friday morning recovered bodies of two women that were dumped along highways in Saharanpur and Hapur districts of UP. While the victims are yet to be identified, police said that there were injury marks all over both the bodies. In the first incident, Hapur police found the body of a differently abled 28-year-old woman, with both legs amputated, tied and packed in a jute sack. Raj Kumar Agarwal, additional SP, Hapur, said, "The body was covered with bruises. We recovered it from Upeda Cut in Babugarh police station area and sent it for autopsy."

In a devastating road accident today, at least 18 people lost their lives and many others were injured after the bus they were travelling in collided with another vehicle in Unnao, Uttar Pradesh. Among the deceased were three women and one child, police reported. The double-decker bus, which was en route from Biharβs Sitamarhi to Delhi, crashed into a milk tanker from behind on the Lucknow-Agra Expressway early this morning. The force of the collision was immense, causing several passengers to be flung out of the bus, police stated.
