Won't contest 2024 Lok Sabha polls, says Congress leader Navjot Singh Sidhu

Navjot Singh Sidhu, a Congress leader, announced that he will not run for the 2024 Lok Sabha polls. However, he did not confirm whether his wife, Navjot Kaur Sidhu, will contest. Sidhu criticized the AAP government in Punjab for deviating from important issues such as rising debt and law and order. He claimed that the government has failed to implement the old pension scheme and is not utilizing central funds for their assigned purposes. Additionally, he accused the government of pushing the state towards a financial emergency with its increasing debt.
