Parliament security breach probe report in 15-20 days, says PM Modi
Stressing that investigations into last week's Parliament security breach are being carried out with "utmost seriousness", PM Modi reiterated that a high-powered committee had already been constituted and its report was likely in the next 15-20 days. The PM's comments came amid strong indications that the opposition would continue to disrupt Parliament to demand a statement from home minister Amit Shah. The government has insisted that security in the Parliament complex is the responsibility of the Lok Sabha secretariat and it has been following the Speaker's directives.
