CISF generates Rs 16cr revenue through technical consultancy for 228 industrial establishments: Home ministry

The CISF has generated a revenue of Rs 16 crore from providing technical consultancy service to 228 industrial establishments in the private and public sector establishments, the home ministry shared with the Lok Sabha on Tuesday. In a written reply to a question, junior home minister Nityanand Rai however denied any plan to initiate CISF into taking up international security consultancy. It is β€œnot under consideration at present,” he stated. CISF is currently protecting 358 entities in the public and private sector through the length and breadth of the country, as per the force’s website.
