'Democracy strangulated by government': Sonia Gandhi on suspension of 141 MPs from Parliament
Criticising the Modi government over the suspension of opposition MPs from Parliament, Sonia Gandhi said, "Democracy has been strangulated by this government. The former Congress president also condemned the December Parliament security breach incident and called it inexcusable. "What happened on December 13 is inexcusable and cannot be justified," she said.
