UP STF arrests slain gangster-politician Atiq Ahmed's relative in tax evasion case

Meerut businessman Qamar Ahmed Kazmi, a relative of gangster-turned-politician Atiq Ahmed, has been arrested by the Special Task Force (STF) of Uttar Pradesh Police in a tax evasion case of over Rs 100 crore. Kazmi is accused of stealing GST by creating fake e-way bills. The STF is investigating Kazmi's foreign funding and anti-national connections. Kazmi and his associates are accused of causing billions of losses to the government through fake bills. Kazmi is being interrogated and has revealed his involvement in fraudulent activities.
