Lawrence Bishnoi jail interviews: Haryana high court asks Punjab DGP to register 2 FIRs

The Punjab and Haryana high court has directed the Punjab DGP to immediately register two FIRs with regard to the conduct of two interviews of gangster Lawrence Bishnoi in custody. The HC said the investigation of the FIRs shall be carried out by a special investigation team (SIT), headed by IPS officer Prabodh Kumar, DG, Human Rights Commission. The other members of the SIT are S Rahul, IPS, and Nilambari Vijay Jagdale, DIG, cybercrime. The team has been asked to submit its report within two months.
