IPS Anand Mishra tenders resignation

An IPS officer in Assam, part of the SIT on Manipur ethnic clash, has resigned to pursue a life of freedom and independence. The officer, Anand Mishra, submitted his resignation letter to the Assam chief secretary, stating his desire to work for the betterment of his home state of Bihar. He plans to resign from the service on January 16, 2024. Sources suggest that he may join BJP and contest the upcoming Lok Sabha elections in Bihar.
