Akbar asserted that unless both leaders, appointed as deputy chief ministers, take the oath as ministers, any work done by them would be termed “unreasonable” and “void” as per the law. Akbar lost to BJP’s Vijay Sharma, now the deputy CM, from the Kawardha constituency.
