Himachal govt approves start-up scheme linked to solar project for youths

Himachal Pradesh cabinet approves phase-11 of Rajiv Gandhi Swarozgar Start Up Yojna, focusing on setting up Solar Power Projects (SPPs) for youth aged 21-45 years. The scheme aims to provide self-employment opportunities, contribute to clean energy initiatives, and achieve renewable energy targets. Beneficiaries will receive monthly income for 25 years, based on project capacity and land size. Cabinet also approves 'Sarkar Gaon Ke Dwar' initiative for officials to interact with beneficiaries. CM Sukhu announces plan to establish integrated school/college for specially-abled children.
