Pastor held over 'role in conversion & black magic'

IndiaTimes Monday, 1 January 2024
A controversial Goa pastor, Domnic D'Souza, was arrested Monday for alleged involvement in conversion and black magic. The action followed a complaint by a Tamil Nadu man who accused the pastor of denying him entry into his Five Pillars Church at Sodiem in Goa's Siolim and trying to convert him. D'Souza was arrested earlier in another case of alleged "forcible conversions" in May 2022 before being let out on bail. "We have registered cases against D'Souza, his wife Joan and some others, all attached to Five Pillars Church," said Mapusa DSP Jivba Dalvi.
