Chhattisgarh government decides to handover PSC scam probe to CBI

The BJP-led Chhattisgarh government has decided to seek a Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) probe into allegations of nepotism and corruption in the selection process conducted by the State Public Service Commission (PSC). The decision was taken in a cabinet meeting chaired by chief minister Vishnu Deo Sai. In the meeting complaints of irregularities and malpractices in the Chhattisgarh Public Service Examination 2021, organised by the state PSC, were taken up. The Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission had recently released the selection list for 170 positions across 12 departments under the Chhattisgarh State Service Examination 2021.
