Murder accused out on bail, two others kill man over booze row

A 46-year-old borewell operator from Haryana was shot dead by three inebriated men, including a 34-year-old murder accused who was released on bail last month, after he asked them not to drink liquor at the work site in Lakhimpur Kheri, where he was installing an overhead water tank under the Jal Shakti Ministry's 'Har Ghar Jal' initiative, reports Kanwardeep Singh. The incident took place on Tuesday night when the victim, Balram Rana and his co-workers were lighting a bonfire.
