Indian envoy, Sri Lankan Foreign Minister discuss ways to further enhance bilateral cooperation
India's High Commissioner Santosh Jha held a meeting with Sri Lankan Minister of Foreign Affairs Ali Sabry to discuss enhancing bilateral cooperation. Earlier, Jha called on Sri Lankan Prime Minister Dinesh Gunawardena and discussed topics related to the multidimensional relationship between the two nations, highlighting the centrality of Buddhism. Jha also presented credentials to Sri Lankan President Ranil Wickremesinghe, assuming charge as the High Commissioner of India to Sri Lanka.
