Political plot: Bhupesh Baghel on ED's Mahadev app chargesheet

IndiaTimes Saturday, 6 January 2024
Former Chhattisgarh CM Bhupesh Baghel has been mentioned in the second prosecution complaint filed by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in connection with the Mahadev app scam. Baghel has called it a "political conspiracy" and accused the central agency of coercing people to give statements against him. Baghel reacted strongly, stating that the ED's mention of his name is part of a political conspiracy and that the allegations have no basis. He also criticized the ED for turning the investigation into a tool for political pressure and defamation instead of focusing on the actual crime.
